Kirosan Panorama Park's centerpiece is the striking Kirosan Observatory, designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma. Built primarily from exposed concrete and steel, the structure is deliberately minimalist, allowing the surrounding landscape to take center stage. Sloping ramps, layered terraces, and carefully framed sightlines guide visitors upward, revealing the panorama little by little. The architecture feels both modern and quietly respectful of the mountain’s natural contours.

Multiple observation decks provide different perspectives, making it easy to linger and take in the view, especially at sunset when the sea and islands glow with warm color. The park is also a popular night-view spot, offering a magical look at the illuminated Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge.
