Mare Gracia Onsen Omishima
Mare Gracia Onsen Omishima
Relaxing seaside hot spring facility located on Omishima Island's west coast, close to Oyamazumi Shrine.
Mare Gracia is a relaxing seaside hot spring facility located on Omishima Island's west coast, a few kimometers from the main Shimanami Kaido "Blue Line" route.
Close to Oyamazumi Shrine, and next to the Hakata Salt Factory, the onsen overlooks the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea, offering a soothing place to rest and recover.
The onsen features spacious indoor baths and open-air rotenburo, where bathers can enjoy sea breezes and wide coastal views while soaking. The water is gently warming and ideal for easing tired muscles after a long ride. Large windows and an open design emphasize the connection to the surrounding seascape, creating a calm, unhurried atmosphere.
Beyond the baths, the facility includes a restaurant serving simple Japanese meals, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner without leaving the complex. There are also rest areas where visitors can unwind before continuing their journey. Clean changing rooms, lockers, and modern amenities make it comfortable even for first-time onsen visitors.
Mare Gracia Onsen Omishima works well as either a planned stop or a spontaneous break for those who choose to explore Omishima beyond the "Blue Line." Whether you’re looking to refresh mid-ride or end the day with a peaceful soak by the sea, it’s a welcoming place to slow down and enjoy island time.
